The Friends of the Mulberry Library mission is to promote the interests and welfare of the Mulberry Library as a cultural and educational asset to the City of Mulberry. Inherent to this mission, our dedicated team of members and volunteers accomplish this mission by supporting local library services, sponsoring special projects, fundraising, providing educational scholarships, supporting facility enhancements, and advocating for the Mulberry Public Library.
On Tuesday, May 07, 2026, Mayor Hatch, along with the City Commission, gave a proclamation honoring the Mulberry Public Library. As we celebrate National Library Week later this month, take a minute to stop by the library and say hi to the team! Our library staff works hard to support the Mulberry area community all year round, and they truly embody what makes #MoreToMulberry.
Friends of the Mulberry board member Tom Mulvaney was present and thanked the City of Mulberry for proclaiming April 19-25 as National Library Week and for giving special recognition to our local library and our local library staff.
